BLANKETS AND CURTAINS
CALVOSEALING’s removable insulation blankets are custom designed and fabricated for each individual item. Close contour fit is essential for a neat appearance and proper sound and thermal performance. Multiple piece construction is frequently required for most applications.
Insulation blankets will keep your utility bill in check while increasing safety, reliability and productivity. Removable insulation blankets reduce heat loss and thereby save money otherwise spent on energy. The savings are realized not because removable blankets perform better than conventional insulation. Rather, they offer savings over conventional applications because they require fewer labour hours to remove and reinstall.
To fit your needs, our custom blankets are made using a wide variety of cloths, insulation materials and closure systems, which can handle temperatures up to 1260 ºC (2300 °F). All removable insulation blankets will be fabricated in house from design drawings or field measurements.
RUBBER COATED TEXTILE GASKETS
Gaskets are made layer by layer from pre oxidized acrylic and aramid fiber fabric reinforced with brass wire, with synthetic rubber coating two sides. Finally is applied a surface treatment non-stick of high purity graphite.
The fabrication is based on folding the fabric layer by layer and make different section shapes of closed sealings. Generally are made of round or oval shape, although for being a handicrafts product can be manufactured with rectangular or square strip.
